The Merkel Police Department is committed to serving the community of Merkel, Texas.  In that commitment, we are always looking for ways to be more effective and better serve our citizens.  If you are going on vacation, or own a business in town or have a specific need for additional patrols, please fill out the request below.

Once your request has been submitted to the Merkel Police Department, please allow up to (3) three business days for it to be processed.  Your request will be entered into the MPD Officer's Mobile Data System along with being forwarded to the Taylor County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center.  Our officers will fulfill your request as often as possible as part of their regular duties.
